Questions that could change your world!

It’s no secret that we are living in unprecedented times. If one would have asked anyone before the pandemic hit what would everyday life be like. I’m sure no one would predict it to be so taxing! Where most days feel doom and gloom with little to no hope of an end. But what can we do, when faced with so much adversity?

Introducing POWER QUESTIONS by Tony Robbins. A simple morning exercise that creates a foundation of positivity and could help conquer even the most daunting days. By shifting your focus and training your mind to see the brighter side of life. Power questions are thought-provoking, introspective, always has a pleasant connotation to them and requires little to no effort.

These are examples of a few basic Power Questions that can be introduced to foster an uplifting and positive habit.

What am I happy about today?

By recognizing what makes you happy, it reinforces that moment, feeling or thing that brings you joy. Making it a go-to, when you are feeling down.

Whom do I love?

Love is something that fuels humanity. Though we very seldom acknowledge or say it. Know that your love for someone (pets included) could change their world.

Who loves and supports me?

This question is a great reminder that there are people out there that always have your back. Acknowledge them, then pop them a message of thanks.

What can I do to make today fantastic?

It could be simply taking out the trash bag or finishing that assignment. Just to feel that awesome sense of accomplishment.

What can I do today that will make a difference?

When people hear the words “make a difference”,they usually think to give whatever you have. This is not the case, do what’s in your means. Check-in with a friend, family member or give your pet some extra love and affection. You would not believe the impact a call or a hug could make.

What can I acknowledge within myself today?

Whether you notice chaos or calm within you. It’s okay to say that I’m not feeling 100% today. Maybe tomorrow will be different? However, know that you are in control of your actions.

These are just a few examples of power questions, you could even create your own. It may sound strange that something like answering a few questions while brushing your teeth or hair could create positive change. However, this could be your positive butterfly effect!
